Minimonsta review by german magazine Amazona.de

minimonsta-amazona

German music production magazine “Amazona” has posted an in-depth review of the Minimonsta:Melohman, which you can read here, automatically translated by some Google robots. But any german ohmfriend could help? Because we’re quite intrigued with the first phrase, that says that “Once the name appears, get all glassy Äuglein and wet hands.” ? Glassy “Auglein”? We are even afraid of imaging what body part they could be talking about. Anyway, 4 pages later, we’ve well understood the last words: “It says only one thing: If already a virtual-analog plug-in, then you should GForce / OhmForce MiniMonsta with the final choice.” No need to say that this article has made our day, thank you german Amazonas!

My based-on-long-time-ago-learned-german bet is something along the line of :

“As soon as the name is told the eyes become vitreous and the the hands become to sweat”.

    Gregory is right:

“Once the name appears (i.e. while reading or talking), everybody gets glassy eyes and wet hands.” They talk about the MiniMoog, by the way, even though they were probably just as right if they meant OhmForce…

“Äuglein” is a diminutive and means something like small, cute eyes. :)

    Hello everybody,

I am the writer who made the review of the Minimonsta at Amazona. I am happy to see such interest in the review.

So let me transcribe the parts mentioned here for your convenience:
(although I really dig the lovely and insightful explanation of the “Glasige Äuglein” idiom made before :D )

“When the name ´Moog´is mentioned, everybody gets wet hands and a very dreamy, far away-look in their eyes”

The Final verdict reads like this:
“This test does not oppose the achievements, sound or magic of the real Moog Hardware. It only concludes to this: IF you need to choose some virtual analogue plug-in [instead of analogue hardware], then Minimonsta should be in the final round”

It is also the only Plug-In so far I´ve given 6 out 5 Stars for sound.

    best regards,
    Markus :)
